FunVenture Talicud Beach Resort
FunVenture Talicud Beach Resort is a thrilling getaway located in Sta. Cruz, Talicud Island, and was formerly known as Charisse Beach House, an exclusive private resort. Now open to the public, it’s a perfect stopover for island hoppers looking to inject some adrenaline into their trip. While many resorts in Samal offer basic water activities, FunVenture takes it a notch higher with unique rides like the Fly Fish, UFO Ride, and Donut Boat—ideal for thrill seekers and groups looking for fun on the water.
Though it doesn’t have a long stretch of white sand like other Talicud beaches, the resort still offers a good swimming area and has a floating dock that accommodates larger boats, making it accessible for sea travelers and island hopping tours.
Guests can choose from various accommodations: the C3 House (Shared Bathroom) is perfect for backpackers at Php 600 per person, while larger groups can book the Dorm Type Room (9 pax) for Php 5,300. For couples or those who prefer more comfort, air-conditioned rooms (C1/C2) are available for Php 3,000 for two people. Open cottages are also available for day trips and lounging by the beach.
The resort has an on-site restaurant offering meals and refreshments, as bringing outside food is not allowed. Whether you’re after adventure or just a place to chill after a day of exploring Talicud, FunVenture is a solid choice for a fun-filled beach escape.
