Discovery Samal Resort

Discovery Samal is a new and fancy resort managed by Discovery Hospitality Corp. It’s located in Barangay Limao, Samal Island. The resort covers six hectares of land right by the coast in the Island Garden City of Samal, giving guests beautiful views of the Davao Gulf.

The resort opened its doors on July 23, 2023. It’s not only a place to stay but also has the biggest convention center on the island, which can hold up to 1,200 people. This makes it a great spot for big meetings and events.

Discovery Samal has 153 places to stay, including villas and suites, spread out over four levels of the property. There are 9 private villas that come with their own small pools for a quiet and private experience. Additionally, there are 128 regular hotel suites, 15 fancier executive suites, and one very large and luxurious Grand Signature Suite. This means there’s a variety of rooms to fit different needs, whether you’re there for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

POOL

The resort has plenty of things to do and places to relax. There are three main swimming pools. The biggest pool is designed to look like it stretches into the sky when you look at it from certain angles. There’s also a quieter pool just for the villa guests and another pool near the beach.
