In International Hospitality Management at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Manila. Part of the completion of the academic program is dissertation writing. The paper is entitled ”WELLNESS TOURISM IN REGION XI: STRATEGIES FOR GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS”. This study aims to determine the essential components of a wellness destination as perceived by tourism stakeholders in areas of business facility, location and environment, supporting tourism services, servicescape and service encounter factors. The study also tries to determine interrelationship of the above-mentioned components with tourist motivational drivers in visiting wellness tourism destination on the perceived value of the services received, satisfaction and revisit intentions.
