Fatima's Sunrise Resort may be a bit far, but it's worth the trip with its affordable entrance fee, white sand beach for swimming, relaxing open cottages, and basic amenities.
Located in Pangubatan, Kaputian, Samal, Fatima’s Sunrise Resort is a peaceful and budget-friendly getaway. It’s about 35 kilometers from Babak port, and offers one of the cheapest day tours at just ₱75 per person. The resort provides basic amenities, with air-conditioned rooms starting at ₱3,000 per night.
Fatima’s Sunrise Resort is perfect for family vacations, romantic trips, or simply relaxing in a quiet spot. The resort is surrounded by nature, offering a calming atmosphere where you can enjoy the sound of waves and the beauty of the beach. Guests can spend the day lounging by the shore or taking a dip in the clear waters.

The staffs are NOT APPROACHABLE. The rules given by the resort’s management are not reasonable. Every time you need to use their amenities and things that should already be included while you’re staying, it’s either you MUST PAY or RENT IT. Examples, the key for your room if you’re going to rent one, you also need to provide a deposit amounting 500 pesos for it on top of the rent you’re going to pay for the room. The remote for the aircon, you need to deposit 1,000 pesos as well for them to let you use it in your entire stay. You can not do things freely without using your money. Instead of relaxing and enjoying, your whole mental state is completely disturbed. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR LEISURE.
